Solid Rock
(High School)

High school is a crucial age! Many students are wrestling within themselves trying to decide what they believe. For this reason, we offer a variety of things to reach the youth in our area. Each week we offer a Wednesday night youth program and Sunday morning Bible study. Every year we will also offer multiple trips that are tons of fun, but also, hopefully, provide a focused time for youth to grow closer to Christ. There are three things we try to accomplish at each thing we do.
We want to have a lot of FUN, we want to be challenged in our FAITH, and we want to have a good time in FELLOWSHIP with others.

Solid Rock

Running after God is the only life worth living. Even though the world believes that living for God is boring, we believe that there is nothing more exciting. Our desire is to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that allows teenagers to grow in their love for God and their love for others. So on Wednesday nights from 7:30pm – 9:00pm we hang out, play games, sing worship songs, and hear a challenge from the Bible. This makes it a great place to connect with friends and also a great place to invite a friend. Solid Rock meets in the Solid Rock Youth Center at 415 N 9th St., O'Neill.

Sunday School

The High School class is held each Sunday morning at 9:15 am in the Solid Rock Youth Center. It is a time for us to dig into God's Word and to be challenged by His truth.

A vital part of our journey of walking with Jesus is learning to serve as He served. One of the best ways to learn this is to intentionally break out of our comfort zone and to intentionally serve others. Each year, usually in the spring, the Solid Rock Youth Group leaves home for a week of service. Each year is a different location with different challenges and needs. In the past, they have traveled to places like California, Mississippi, Texas and Haiti. Our goal on these trips is not only to serve and bless others in need, but to learn to serve and trust Jesus in order to better love and point our friends and family toward Him.

Each year around July 4th, we head to the mountains of Montana to attend Clydehurst Christian Camp. This week is guaranteed to be the highlight of your summer. They offer hikes, horse rides, paintball, basketball, swimming, volleyball, and much more! All of this is done while hanging out with friends and making new ones. Not only is camp a fantastic place to build relationships with others, it is a great place to build a relationship with Jesus. We hope you can join us next time.
